TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, read more pricing, read more and the bonus terms, is at tabtrade Trade The Day.
